The Chapter

       The San Diego Chapter is unique from having the best Geographic location of all Amigos chapters in the US. San Diego's shear diversity has has produced innumerable generations of excellent volunteers and staff. Additionally our proximity to Mexico(which has hosted several Amigos projects since the organization's founding) means that many of our volunteers already have a strong sense of respect and admiration for Latin American traditions and customs before entering the ranks. We believe these elements to be crucial to chapter's ability of consistently sending well prepared young men and women to Amigos projects! - The Team
