Minimum Requirements for Volunteers

 Applicants for the 2012 Summer Session must:

- be 16 years old by September 1, 2013

- have two years of Spanish language instruction in school (or equivalent) by summer 2012.

- have completed their sophomore year of high school by summer 2013.

- have a US passport valid for travel through August 2013 (or apply for same by November 1, 2012).

- be able to carry a 40 pound backpack and walk for several miles at a time

- be willing to attend all scheduled training activities or make up missed work promptly.

- be willing to follow the established rules of conduct.
